Barbara Horejs

Lithics and raw materials as source for mobility and migration in Neolithic and Chalcolithic periods: a case study from western Anatolia

Barbara Horejs is currently the Director of the OREA in Vienna, and teaches at universities in Berlin, Bratislava and Vienna. She carried out  her University studies of prehistoric and classical Archaeology in Vienna, Athens, and Berlin, and completed her PhD at the Freie University Berlin. She has managed excavations at Çukuriçi Höyük since 2006, and the prehistoric survey project in Kaikos valley since 2008. Barbara is currently funded by  a START-Prize (FWF) and  an   ERC Starting Grant.
